Terms of service
Last updated: October 18, 2026
These terms apply to every fax you order on app.faxtonic.com (“the Service”). The Service is provided by SaaSatura LLC, 1201 N. Orange St., Suite 7665, Wilmington, DE 19801-1186, USA (“FaxTonic”, “we”, “us”). You accept these terms when you pay for a fax.
1. The Service
FaxTonic sends documents you upload as faxes to fax numbers in these countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, and Spain. It does not receive faxes. You don’t need an account: each fax is a separate order.
We rely on providers to run the Service: Stripe for payments and Telnyx for fax transmission, among others listed in our privacy policy.
2. Ordering a fax
To order, you upload your document, choose whether to add the free cover page, enter the destination number and review the total. Before paying, you confirm that you accept these terms and that you’re entitled to send the document to this recipient.
The order is placed when your payment is confirmed. The version of the terms in force at that moment applies to it.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are per page and depend on the destination country, as shown on the pricing page. The cover page is free. The total is shown before you pay and is charged once, by card, through Stripe.
In English, prices are in US dollars; in German, French and Spanish, they are in euros. Any fee your bank charges for a payment in another currency is between you and your bank.
4. Sending and delivery
We start sending as soon as your payment is confirmed. The fax is delivered when the receiving machine confirms it. Delivery depends on the receiving line and equipment, which we don’t control, so we can’t guarantee that a given fax will get through.
A status page shows the progress of your fax. Once the fax is delivered, the order is complete.
5. Failed faxes and refunds
If a fax can’t be delivered, we refund it automatically: in full if no call to the number was made, or minus a fee of $0.30 + 2.9% if a call was made. The refund policy explains the details and forms part of these terms.
6. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have a right to withdraw from a distance contract. By paying, you ask us to start sending your fax straight away, and you acknowledge that you lose that right once the fax has been sent. A fax that fails is refunded as described in the section above.
7. Your responsibilities
When you send a fax with FaxTonic, you confirm that:
- you have the right to send the document, and its content is lawful;
- the fax number is correct, and the recipient expects or agrees to receive your fax;
- your fax is not unsolicited advertising;
- you include the sender identification required where you send from or to. In the United States, a fax sent from a computer must show the date and time it was sent, who sent it and a phone number, on the first page or on every page. The free cover page lets you do that.
You are responsible for the content of what you send.
8. What is not allowed
You may not use the Service to send unlawful, threatening, harassing, fraudulent or misleading content, to impersonate anyone, to send faxes in bulk or by automated means, to probe numbers, to get around the Service’s limits, or to pay with a card you’re not authorized to use. We may refuse or stop a fax that breaks these rules.
FaxTonic does not sign Business Associate Agreements under the US HIPAA law. Don’t use the Service to send protected health information covered by that law.
9. Availability
We work to keep the Service available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or by our providers’ outages. We may change or withdraw features, destinations or prices; a change never affects an order already paid.
10. Liability
We perform the Service with reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses, for the content of your document, for a wrong number you entered, or for what the recipient does with your fax.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be set aside by contract.
11. Personal data
How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy and cookie policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Each order stays governed by the version you accepted when you paid.
13. Contact
