Privacy policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit faxtonic.com or send a fax on app.faxtonic.com, why we process it, and the choices you have.
1. Who is responsible
SaaSatura LLC, 1201 N. Orange St., Suite 7665, Wilmington, DE 19801-1186, USA, operates FaxTonic and is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at contact@faxtonic.com.
2. What we process
- The document you send, including the cover page and anything written on it. It may contain personal data about you or others.
- The destination fax number and its country.
- Order details: page count, price, currency, the status of the fax and of any refund, and the version of the terms you accepted.
- Payment details, which Stripe handles. We receive a payment reference and, if you enter one, the email address for your receipt. Your card number never reaches us.
- Technical data: your IP address when you use the app, and error reports when something goes wrong.
The marketing site faxtonic.com does not ask you for personal data and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider processes your IP address to deliver its pages.
3. Why we use it
- To send your fax, take your payment and issue refunds. This is necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To keep the accounting records the law requires.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, fix errors and keep the Service secure. These are our legitimate interests.
We don’t use your data for advertising, we don’t sell it, and we don’t build profiles of you.
4. Who processes it with us
- Stripe, for payments. Stripe also processes payment data under its own privacy policy.
- Telnyx, which transmits your fax and stores the document until it’s sent.
- Vercel, which hosts the site and the app.
- Neon, which hosts our database.
- Sentry, for error monitoring. Error reports are stripped of request contents, cookies and identifiers before they leave our servers.
The recipient of your fax receives your document. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
5. International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where European or UK data protection law applies, transfers rely on the safeguards it provides, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep it
- Your document: deleted once the fax is delivered, and after 24 hours at the latest.
- The destination number: kept for 30 days after the fax is finished, then erased. We keep the country, the page count and the price.
- Abuse counters: we count requests per IP address and per fax number using keyed hashes, not the addresses or numbers themselves, and delete them after 2 days.
- Order and payment records without the fax number: as long as accounting and tax laws require.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your personal data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy of it. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Residents of US states with privacy laws, such as California, can ask what we hold about them and ask us to delete or correct it. We don’t sell or share personal data for advertising.
To exercise a right, write to contact@faxtonic.com. Because there are no accounts, we may ask for details of the fax, such as its status page link, to find it.
8. Security
All connections are encrypted, access to data is limited to what running the Service requires, and card data never reaches our servers.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for children, and we don’t knowingly process their data.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
